Your birthday party...

Following on from a very long morning opening your presents, some of your family came round for a buffet to celebrate you turning 1!

Happy birthday baby boy, I hope you enjoyed your special day.

Christening Day...

On a very warm Sunday afternoon you were christened at St Michael's and All Angel's church in Macclesfield (where I was also done many moons ago).

We had such a lovely time and lots of your family came great distances to see you! Afterwards we went back to my mum's for a buffet and lots of cake. You were spoilt (like usual) and were incredibly well behaved considering all the handing around.

On the train...

A couple of weeks back we went on the train to Manchester. It was just a shopping trip really but we met up with your Dad at Starbucks for lunch.

First Rusk...

I tried you with your first Farley's Rusk...

...and even though a bit when down the wrong hole and made you cough, you seemed to enjoy it. However I then got too paranoid and took it off you before you had chance to finish it!

Truck stop...

A few weekends ago we stopped off at your first 'Truck Stop' for a cup of tea and a bacon butty.

First Mother's Day...

Our first Mother's day was today and we had a lovely time. I was spoilt by you and your father - I received a card from each of you, a gorgeous spotty tea pot, a purse, a 'Special Mummy' bracelet and tulips and daffodils which are my favourite!

Unfortunately Daddy was under the weather today so he couldn't join us at Gran's which was a shame as uncle Phil and I really outdid ourselves!

Phil was in charge of decorations and went a little mad with the bunting and I was in charge of the food.

The theme was an indoor picnic with a ploughman's for lunch with a choice of chocolate cheesecake, scones, vanilla slices or Gran's Victoria sponge for dessert!

After we had eaten, Phil was playing with you blowing some bubbles Mary & Patrick brought and you were trying to catch them - I didn't take any photos of it, but have it on video to show you.
