Barnaby Festival...

Every year Macclesfield puts on it's Barnaby Festival. This year Uncle Phil and I took you along to see what all the fuss was about.

We watched the Morris dancers (although we didn't really have a choice as they were right in the middle of the high street blocking it!) but you didn't like them and started to cry. The town is decorated in bunting and there are a few market stalls to peruse. Unfortunately, the weather was horrendous and we got soaked!

André Rieu...

Happy 4 month birthday! To celebrate we watched André Rieu... only joking, it was a coincidence but I was surprised how much you seemed to enjoy watching him and his orchestra.

Part of me was wondering if this went back to when I was pregnant with you as I watched a couple of his concerts with Gran. The other part of me reckons it was the music and colours which grabbed your attention. Either way, André rocks!
