It was a lovely sunny afternoon and I had my vision of sitting under the tree while you were off playing...
Although the reality was somewhat different. You kept crawling off and picking up all the bits of litter on the grass! So I was up chasing you around trying to ensure you didn't put any of it in your mouth.
Today we took you to the aquarium and you really enjoyed yourself... Although I'm not sure if you had more fun watching the fish or the other children!
This is where we brought you for your very first holiday.
We stayed in an executive lodge with Mum and Uncle Phil. The weather was very warm but it did rain. You were intrigued with all the ducks (and ducklings!) which were waddling around on the loose!
This holiday was also significant in the fact it was just after Uncle Phil finished the last of his exams at school and it was the last week of my maternity leave.
Due to the crazy temperatures we've been experiencing, I decided it was time to get you in a paddling pool. It took forever for mum and Phil to blow up and even longer to fill up with water, but it was worth it when it was finally ready. Except it was a little too chilly which you didn't like, however after a little acclimatising you were fine!
Today it was incredibly warm so we went over to see Hannah and Tasmin and played in the garden.
Then after lunch you both played inside where it was a little cooler.
Whilst we were here you crawled for the very first time!! It was only a small move of the leg and move of the arm (as the rice cakes were just that little too far out of reach!) and Hannah and I squealed which then made you cry!
