Meeting Uncle Phil...
You actually met Uncle Phil on the day you were born as there was a later visiting time, but I didn't get a photo of him! So here we are on the Sunday where he held you for the first time.

Meeting Great Gran...
Today we took you for a trip to meet your Great Gran. She was surprised to see us so soon but I think she was quite proud.

Bringing you home...
After just one night in hospital we were discharged. I was rather grateful as it was incredibly warm on the maternity ward as we were experiencing a very unusual heatwave. Your Dad went to collect the car while I put you in your going-home outfit:
We arrived home at around 21:30.

Meeting Nan...
Dear Noah,
Today, as well as coming into the world, you met Nan. She popped in while we were still on the ward.

Welcome to the world!
Today you arrived into the world after a staggering 3 days labour! Well, 11 and 1/2 hours 'active' labour with 2 days prior of a 'latent phase' labour (sporadic contractions while I was at home). You were a very typical British labour, after I had 2 cups of very sugary tea to kick start my contractions towards the end!
You weighed a substantial 8Ib 5oz much to everyone's surprise as you were only a small bump, but obviously very tightly packed. The emotion I felt when you were put on my chest is indescribable, however I know how lucky I am to have a perfect, healthy baby.
