Holding your bottle...

Today for the first time I lay you down on your back and gave you your bottle... and to my amazement you held it up!

Tatton Park...

Last Sunday was glorious, so you and I and Mum and Phil spent the afternoon at Tatton Park.

We wandered around the gardens and followed the art exhibition which was there. Afterwards we stopped by at the tea room before heading home. There was a mini fair there as well and I won a blue monkey for you haha.

A poorly baby...

Last week you came down with your first sickness bug and it was horrible!

It began Thursday evening but luckily you were better again by Monday. Everything we gave you to eat and drink was coming back. We were given some dioralyte for you and this seemed to help. Unfortunately this bug is going round and me and your Dad got it too!

Trying to escape...

This was the first time you were lifting yourself up against the side of the cot. You weren't getting very far though as you couldn't get your legs to do what you wanted, so you settled with your feet poking out.

Godfather x 1 proposal...

Today equipped with a cupcake I asked my brother Phil if he would like to be your Godfather.

Inside the card I wrote this small poem I made up:

'Please will you be there,
To help me learn and grow,
To show me right and wrong,
And to teach me all you know.'

Just have to wait to see what he says!

Godmother proposal...

Today I arranged for this to be sent to my friend Charlotte asking her if she would like to be your Godmother.

It won't arrive until Thursday so we're going to have to wait for her answer...

The pancake swing...

Ok so I'm not familiar with the technical name for this swing, but it was super cool! During a brief spell of nice ish weather we went down to the park and unfortunately due to you being so little, the amount of things you can play on was rather limited. However, this swing kept you happy for ages.
